CCC Tour Program

Chandler Children’s Choir offers a progressive tour program for its four choirs. Participating in tours is an important part of the choir experience. Touring fosters growth as a choir, raises the level of performing together and encourages independence. Touring also provides the opportunity for new audiences to hear our choir. We encourage you to explore our past and current tour opportunities.

  • We have designed the Junior Tour Program to introduce the singers and their families to the concept of going on tour, in preparation for the larger, more complex tours they will encounter as they promote up through our program.

This year, the Junior Choir will be taking a day trip to Tucson, Arizona. While there, we will exchange with a local children’s choir and spend the day enjoying what Tucson has to offer.

Previous Junior Choir tours have included: Matilda on Broadway at Gammage Theater, Aladdin on Broadway at Gammage Theater, the Musical Instrument Museum, Organ Stop Pizza, The Hobbit, Phoenix Symphony, and performances at multiple locations.

  • We’ve designed the Encore Tour Program to give singers and their families a taste of the full choral experience—performance, connection, and arts enrichment.

This year’s tour will be a one-day trip to Flagstaff, Arizona, where singers will have the opportunity to perform and collaborate with another choir. No fundraising is required for this tour, making it simple and accessible for all Encore families.

In past years, Encore Choir has toured destinations like Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Santa Fe, creating lasting memories and musical growth along the way.

  • The highest level of our tour program is designed to deepen musical skills and strengthen ensemble performance in ways that go beyond regular rehearsals. Singers will take part in unforgettable performance opportunities, encounter the arts through diverse perspectives, and explore creative expression in many forms beyond choral music—all while expanding their understanding of the world beyond our local community.

This year, Cantus and Ad Astra will embark on a tour across the Southwest, with stops at the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and Zion National Park—singing our way through some of the region’s most breathtaking landscapes.

Cantus Choir has a rich history of touring both nationally and internationally. Past destinations include San Francisco, Salt Lake City, New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C., Vancouver (Canada), Ireland, England, and most recently Italy, where singers had the honor of performing at St. Peter’s Basilica.
