Chandler Children's Choir

Fall 2021 Choir

Prelude choir is open to all children ages 6 to 12 who love to sing and offers musically curious children a taste of what it's like to be part of a children's choir! If your child enjoys singing but you don't feel quite ready to commit to a full-season of weekly choir rehearsals, this program is for you! Singers will enjoy learning songs and meeting new friends in a fun, supportive environment. CCC is thrilled to be partnering with Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center through the Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council to provide inclusive learning opportunities for singers throughout our program. The Prelude program is offered on site at 8600 South McClintock Drive, Tempe, Arizona 85284.

Our artistic staff has designed Prelude specifically for children with no previous musical training or performance experience - there's no audition needed. Under the direction of CCC staff member Selena Ryan, Prelude choir members learn two to three songs over the course of six weekly rehearsals and will perform a short concert at the end of the session! Upon completion of the program, Prelude singers will have the opportunity to audition for a season-long ensemble with CCC.

Rehearsals: Thursdays from 4:15 to 4:50 p.m.
Dates: October 21, 28; November 4, 11, 18; December 2
Performance: December 2 at 5:00 p.m.

Location: 8600 South McClintock Drive, Tempe, AZ 85284
